🌿 WE’RE HIRING! KITCHEN & CAFÉ ALL-ROUNDER 🌿
Fancy working by the beach, with good food and a great little team?
We’re looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic all-rounder to join us at Gig Shed Cafe, Porthmellon Beach, St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly.
We’re a small, independent vegetarian café with a passion for good food, local produce and supporting other small businesses. We love fresh ingredients, big flavours and keeping things creative.
What we’re looking for:
* Someone methodical, practical and organised who takes pride in doing things well.
* Happy following recipes, prepping ingredients and putting delicious food together.
* Keen to learn and develop their kitchen skills — no formal chef experience necessary.
* An all-rounder who’s happy helping in the kitchen, serving customers, making coffees and lending a hand wherever needed.
* Reliable, positive and passionate about good food and working as part of a small team.
The job:
* Part-time hours over the winter, with the potential for full-time work during the summer season.
* A varied role with opportunities to learn, develop and take on more responsibility.
* A beautiful beachside working environment here on the Isles of Scilly.
Please note: accommodation is not provided, so you’ll need to have your own arrangements in place.
You don’t need to be a trained chef — we’re much more interested in the right attitude, attention to detail and someone who genuinely enjoys good food.
