It is a little warm today at the Soapbox Derby in Ilfracombe. I was given some time off for good behaviour to see some of the action whilst Richard manned the scone stall. It is still busy so come down and say hello.

We’ll be back at Braunton Sands Campsite tomorrow from 4:30pm with plenty of homemade scones, so come along and join us!

After nearly 13 months of markets ,shows and deliveries and many conversations about scones I thought was time to say a big thank you to all of those people who have made When It’s Scone It’s Scone what it is today.

From my partner Claire who keeps me on the right path, all the Market Traders and Managers in both South Molton and Barnstaple Panniers and the Summer Markets at Ilfracombe and Croyde who have made us very welcome and supported us in many ways.

A special shout out to Adam the market manager at South Molton who gave us our first opportunity and had the vision to run with a company that sold ‘just scones’.

A big thank you to Isabelle from Socialbelle the back bone of our social media set up who has proved invaluable.

I must mention James at Braunton Sands Camp Sites (camping with style)
for the opportunity to work with them it has helped cement to us as local producers who have a place in this part of the world.

We look forward to meeting many more Customers over the coming months.
