Bakery: current special, Grilled organic Wye Valley Asparagus served with poached eggs on our signature FVB sourdough toast 🍞.

Bistro: in our delicious Lasagna Verde with organic Wye Valley asparagus. A celebration of seasonal Spring veg with freshly made spinach & egg pasta sheets, asparagus, broad bean, spinach and a pecorino cheese bechamel 🇮🇹.

We are busy in the kitchen today planning our birthday celebrations at La Fontana on May 2nd. We’re really lucky to have an amazing view from our kitchen window overlooking the Peak District hills and this beautiful tree -it always puts a smile on our faces!

For our special celebration we are returning back to the classic dishes that our guests have loved so much:

Our set menu on May 2nd comes with a choice of:

Starters
Bruschetta with broad beans and burrata
Or
Mushroom Arancini

Mains
Green lasagne with asparagus, spinach, broad beans and pecorino cheese
Or
Polpette in a rich tomato sauce served with our very own sourdough bread

Dessert
Tiramisu
Or
Pannacotta with fresh strawberries

You can choose between:
2 courses for £32
3 courses for £38
Our Kids menu will be £25 for 2 courses

All our guests will receive a little goody bag with treats from the Bistro and View Bakery.

Our celebratory dinner will take place from 5.45-7.30pm, long table Italian family style!
