You lovely lot have only gone and done it again.
We are now FULLY BOOKED for Halloween!

A massive thank you to everyone who has placed an order with us. It’s looking like this could be our busiest Halloween yet, and we couldn’t do it without your continued support.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR YOUR CONFIRMATION!

We will be sending out order confirmations on 29th October. Please make sure you respond to confirm your order and secure your slot.
Unfortunately, if we don’t receive a response, we will have to cancel your slot and offer it to someone else on a first come, first served basis.

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but even our pastry has its limits, and we can only squeeze so many family pies into the oven.

A massive thank you to everyone for your patience this week. It’s been an absolute mad one, with pies flying out faster than we can keep up, but we got there in the end!

Apologies to those of you who had to wait a little longer than usual. We promise we haven’t been sat around eating the stock 👀 Good things come to those who wait, and hopefully the first bite made it worth it.

Now it’s time to put our feet up, recharge the batteries and let the pastry settle.

THE STAR OF THE SHOW.
Our very own take on an Indian Cottage Pie has well and truly stolen the hearts (and probably the taste buds) of our customers.
And we're starting to wonder why these beauties aren't a permanent fixture on the menu? We've only been selling them again for the first week, and you've already made it pretty clear that you've fallen head over heels for them.

These pies are an absolute FLAVOUR BOMB Packed with so much flavour, they'll have your taste buds doing the Bhangra.
In fact, we're so confident in this particular pie that we're considering introducing a money-back guarantee! Not because we expect anyone to ask for their money back, mind you. We'd probably have a better chance of finding a customer who doesn't love it.
The only refund we'll be handing out is a refund of your expectations, because we've just raised the bar for what a cottage pie should be!
So, here's the big question. SHOULD OUR INDIAN COTTAGE PIE BECOME A PERMANENT MENU ITEM?

BREAKING NEWS. TOTALLY MADE-UP PIE RECALL

In a fictional announcement that nobody at Pukka or Holland’s has made, I regret to inform you that Pukka’s ALL ONE BIG MIS STEAK and Holland’s ALL POTATO & NO MEAT PIE have both been recalled by the Ministry of Taking the Pi**
Pukka have admitted their biggest mistake was the mis-steak, while Holland’s have confirmed that the meat in their pie is currently on a witness protection programme.

DO WE POST OUR PIES AROUND THE UK?
Short answer No we dont.

We’ve been asked this question quite a lot lately, and whilst we know there are plenty of companies out there posting pies across the country, it’s definitely something we’d love to do one day.

But for now, our attention is firmly focused on building For Your Pies Only into a brand that’s not only sustainable but, dare we say it, a bit of a household name!

Big dreams? Yep, delusions of grandeur? Possibly.
But here’s the plan, we’re doing this organically. No banks, no investors, no crowdfunding pages, and no bloke in a fancy suit telling us how to run our business. Just little old me, a mountain of pastry, a ridiculous amount of filling, and a determination to make the best pies and products I possibly can.

I want to build something that grows because people love what we do, not because we’ve borrowed a small fortune and suddenly need to sell 4,000 pies a day just to keep the bank manager from having a nervous breakdown.

There’s a lot of hard work ahead, and I know Rome wasn’t built in a day. Although knowing my luck, if I’d been in charge of building it, I’d have opened the order book too early and ended up fully booked for the next fortnight.

For now, we’ll keep doing what we do best, making cracking pies, developing new products, and building this little business one pie at a time.

You’ve got to learn to walk before you can run, and I’m not about to attempt the London Marathon carrying a tray of brisket pies.

Thanks to everyone who supports us, spreads the word, places an order, or simply takes the time to recommend us to someone else. You’re helping make those big dreams a little more realistic every day.
And who knows one day, we might just be sending our pies from one end of the UK to the other.

But until then, it’s one pie at a time.

WELL THAT HAS TO BE A NEW RECORD.
FULLY BOOKED FOR DELIVERIES IN JUST 15 MINUTES!

You lot certainly don't hang about do you. We barely had time to put the kettle on before the delivery slots disappeared faster than a pie at a family gathering.

A massive thank you to everyone who has placed an order with us. Your support has been absolutely brilliant.

We'd also like to apologise if it took us a little longer than expected to get back to your messages. We've been inundated and although we're quick with a pie, we're not quite as quick with our fingers on the keyboard.

BUT DON'T PANIC, THERE'S STILL HOPE.
We still have a limited number of collection slots available from Guide Bridge. However if the delivery slots are anything to go by, these won't be hanging around for long.
So, if you still want to get your hands on some of our pies, get your orders in quickly before the collection slots vanish too.

Once they're gone, they're gone. We can only make so many pies, and unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to clone myself yet

I've come to the conclusion that running a pie business is basically like having 200 kids, except they all live in your fridge, cost you a fortune.
People think owning a pie business is all glamour, beautiful golden pastry, delicious fillings, the smell of freshly baked pies.

THE REALITY
Covered in flour like I've been involved in a Pablo escabar co***ne bust. Spending more on butter than most people spend on their car (true story) Dreaming about pies, waking up thinking about pies, and considering naming the next family pet Meat & Potato. Checking my phone every 14 seconds because I'm now a full-time baker, customer service department and unpaid therapist.

The wife? She's probably sick to death of hearing the word pie and being my betharoo driver
"What's for tea love?"
Pie
"What are you doing tomorrow?"
Pies
"Can we have a romantic evening?"
Suppose so, I've got new filling we can try.

But honestly, every order, every recommendation and every one of you who comes back for more means the world to us.
So thank you for keeping us busy, keeping us baking, and keeping our little business going.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got pastry to make and a suspicious amount of butter to explain to the accountant. Happy weekend folks
