Today is a very sad day for us 😞
Raymond Wilkinson worked for us from the very first day we took over The Dock he worked for Alf before us, we took over and he stayed working 3-7pm on a Saturday his favourite shift of the week 😊 he very quickly became family more so that little 11 year old Becky Dixon started calling him grandad and his wife Judith granny from that day forward Ray an Judith became her grandparents and they just accepted it no questions asked she became their grandaughter.Ray worked with us including through the week after a while for more than 20 years until he eventually retired. He will always be part of our Dock Family.
Today we lay him to rest sleep tight Ray ❤️

Hey just an update from yesterday’s impressive darts marathon played for 12 hours by 2 lovely lads my son being one. Everyone’s a tad shabby today so I will post who won what on the raffle, and will let everyone know the scores and how much was raised in total. Can’t thank everyone who came along for the support and to the local businesses for their generous donations it means the world 🥰

Hey guys, just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the local businesses that have donated a raffle prize for Saturday, we will post a list of the prizes to be won tomorrow, come along and support these lovely lads raising money for such a great cause 🥰

Just a reminder of what’s happening this coming Saturday, the people who know us, knows this is a charity very close to our hearts and the lads have already made a load of money, we would love any local businesses that haven’t already donated to donate a raffle prize before Saturday it would be much appreciated, Sharon’s oldest grandson has organised this even with his good friend. Get in touch if you have anything to offer for it. We will be running domino cards and selling raffle tickets for bottles night stays and sweet hampers which are on sale now for £1 a strip, 20p a single number, also opportunities to play the lads in the 12 hours they are playing, there will be a guess the highest checkout to who wins the most games, come along for a nice cold pint and support a great cause.
