Taoni is a personal adventure led by Virginie aka Nini who, after 25 years in a communication agency in Paris, left everything behind because a new adventure was waiting for her more than 10 000kms away from France. Her need to « Tailler la Route »* was stronger, and to borrow the words of 3 modern French poets:
« 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑟𝑒 𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑒𝑢𝑟𝑠 𝑒𝑡 𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝑑𝑜𝑢𝑐𝑒𝑢𝑟𝑠 𝑑𝑒𝑠 𝑙𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑢𝑟𝑠. 𝐴𝑝𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑟𝑒 𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝑙𝑢𝑚𝑖𝑒̀𝑟𝑒𝑠 𝑙𝑢𝑛𝑎𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑠 𝑑𝑒𝑠 𝑐𝑖𝑡𝑒́𝑠 𝑒́𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒̀𝑟𝑒𝑠. 𝑉𝑜𝑖𝑟 𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑐 𝑏𝑜𝑛ℎ𝑒𝑢𝑟 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝑒𝑛𝑓𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑢𝑟𝑠. 𝑀𝑒 𝑓𝑎𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑞𝑢𝑒𝑟 𝑑'𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑠 𝑟𝑒𝑝𝑒̀𝑟𝑒𝑠 𝑝𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑞𝑢𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑗𝑒 𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑚𝑒 𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝑝𝑎𝑢𝑝𝑖𝑒̀𝑟𝑒𝑠.

To leave is not to die a little, it is to (re)live, further, stronger, bigger. Leaving is going to look elsewhere for what we can no longer find here. The need to give back meaning. The desire to be in harmony with its values.
* eat up the miles
** Understand the colors and sweetness of the distant heat. Learn the lunar lights of foreign cities. See with happiness how children dance elsewhere. Make me other landmarks for when I close my eyelids. Obsessed by their strain I am in love with the sea. I want to travel thousands of miles, yearn for a thousand novels. Admire the world, the moon, the wave of the sea in the distance... Attract the gold of the passing days to revive the soul. Eat up the miles a little before you're old.
