This week at The Cherry Tree… let’s go 🍒☀️
Good morning Corralejo and beyond.
It’s Monday morning, the sun is peeking out, and we are gearing up for another fabulous week here in Corralejo.
We are definitely in full summer mode now. The weather has been just divine, almost as divine as one of Chef Gavin’s cheesecakes, and it looks like it is going to continue this week too, so if you are in town, you are in for some glorious sunshine. Get in. ☀️🍰
Last week was a steady enough week for us. Nothing too crazy like the last few weeks, but a nice steady week with lots of lovely people coming to see us, which was actually a nice little change from the chaos we normally have.
So thank you all so much for coming in, whether it was for Chef Gavin’s cake of the week, our famous fish and chips, a sausage roll, a butty and a brew, or just a little Cherry Tree treat while you were out and about. Thank you for making The Cherry Tree part of your day. It honestly means the world to us. 🍒☕🥪

This week…
BRING. IT. ON. 😂🔥
We can already see this week is going to be a bit different.
We have bookings and requests coming out of our ears for sausage rolls and Victoria sponges, Chef Gavin is definitely going to end up baking on his days off at this rate, and of course we have some big football games kicking off later in the week, where we will be serving up the perfect footy food for everyone heading down for the action. ⚽🍟
On Wednesday, we will be opening later than normal to help feed the England crowds descending on The Sports Bar.
This will be takeaway only from 5pm until 9pm, and it is open to everyone, not just The Sports Bar crowd.
It will be a reduced menu, but still packed with flavour, proper comfort food, and exactly the kind of grub you want before a big game.
Then later in the week, we have Chippy Night on the night of the Scotland v Morocco game, so don’t worry, we have you covered there as well. No Scotland, no party… and no football night is complete without proper chippy chips. 🐟🍟🏴
Cake of the week this week is a surprise.
And when we say surprise, we mean we don’t even know yet. 😂
Chef Gavin will let us know once he has decided, but whatever it is, you already know it is going to be mouthwatering.
All your savoury snacks, sweet treats, breakfasts, sandwiches, lite bites, fish and chips, homemade goodies and Cherry Tree favourites will be served as normal.
Just a little reminder, we are currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, giving the team a couple of rest days and giving us time to prep, clean, bake, plan and get ready for the week ahead.
We will be back open this Wednesday from 9am, ready to do it all again. 🍳☕🍒
