So… why OKLA? 👀
The name has a few stories behind it.
In Arabic, «أكلة» (akla) means a meal — food, something good to eat, something we naturally share with others.
In Choctaw, okla means people. It’s also part of the name Oklahoma — okla meaning “people” and humma meaning “red.”
And there’s one more connection we love: Oklahoma has its own iconic burger, the Oklahoma Onion Burger, born in El Reno, Oklahoma.
Different languages.
Different stories.
But somehow, they all come back to the same thing:
People. Food.
وأكلة تجمعنا.
