It’s been a while since my last post. The reason for the break is our transition from the US back to Germany. There are so many things to take care of right now. And my kids need my full attention at the moment. So I’ll stay in pause mode for a little while, enjoying the time with my kids and working on a lot of projects in the background.

One project is changing my Instagram site and exploring new content. So stay tuned 🤗 But I have to admit that my content will be in German in the future. So unfortunately this is my last post in English. I’m looking forward to all the new beginnings ahead and hope, most of you will stay.

Vegan Russian Chocolate Cheesecake (Russischer Zupfkuchen)

One of my hubby’s favorite cakes, which I baked for his birthday in a vegan version 🎂🎉

So most of your favorite cakes can be made vegan. Just give it a try ☺️

Hulk Smash Birthday Cake 👊🏼💥🎂

A superhero birthday party definitely calls for a special birthday cake 🦸🏼🎉

And can you believe that this superhero cake including the green frosting is actually vegan? 🌱🙌🏼 (only the decoration isn’t but that’s easy to remove) And the taste was so good 😋 Nobody could tell it was vegan 🙊

Pumpkin risotto with roasted pumpkin and fresh thyme 🙌🏼

Risotto is such an easy dish to cook with my Thermomix. And it’s so good 😋

I used butternut squash pumpkin. And vegan parmesan, which I made with my Thermomix as well 😊

Make sure to add a sprinkle of pumpkin seed oil in the end which adds a great flavor to the risotto 😌

I also added two tsp. of the Thermomix vegetable stock paste before cooking the risotto. It’s a paste made of organic vegetables, salt and a bit of oil. You can freeze the paste and store it also for a couple of weeks in the refrigerator. Who made this vegetable stock paste already?

Are you looking for a Mediterranean dip that goes with almost everything? I found it!

It’s called Muhammara Dip and it’s originally from Syria. I love the fact that it’s a bit spicy but not too much.

It’s basically made of roasted peppers, which you can roast on your own or buy it in a glass. Add some bread, olive oil, walnuts, spices and you get this great dip.

The recipe calls for garlic gloves. But as I don’t like raw garlic, I used garlic powder.

Vanilla Crescent Cookies 🌙

Those are my absolute favorite German cookies. They literally melt in your mouth 😌
And this year I made the vegan version for the first time 🤗

So if you haven’t done any cookie baking so far, I highly recommend baking these. It’s so easy. Let me know if you wish to know the recipe 🎄
