This week's Real Food Tuesdays presents....... Tempeh spring rolls, sautéed purple cabbage, and simple white rice.

Umm...yum!
A little while back, I had the pleasure of filming with at my place. I prepared my own spin on Akara, from Ghana, and the black eyed pea cakes from the South. The result? These babies! Soft in the middle, crispity crunchy on the outside.

Its really to reach for a ham hock, turkey neck, or any other animal source when looking for flavor. But we are people and we are alive. We owe it to ourselves, to fuel our lives with life.
I had to pause while doing some food prep because these colors are so amazing. It doesn't matter if you lead a plant based diet or not, today I urge everyone to eat something colorful. Your body will love you for it.
