Landhuis Daniel is a historical landmark where history, nature, gastronomy and art come together It felt like coming home.

Landhuis Daniel, is part of the Dutch colonial heritage and was built around 1700 by Daniel Ellis, an English captain of a Dutch WIC ship. During a considerable part of its existence the headquarter of the West Indian Company was in Middelburg, the city where the current owner spend most of his Dutch period:

“When I took over the plantation house, behind an old cupboard I found a yellowed pencil

drawing of the mill on the Molenwater in Middelburg, the same mill I would see when I looked out of my bedroom window from my house in Middelburg! Was it coincidence or predestination that I arrived at Landhuis Daniel, I think the last. The circle was closed” says Jan Francke(artist name Jakke)who owns Landhuis Daniel since 1997

Since then Landhuis Daniel became a popular restaurant -with some guest rooms- where tourists and locals mingle in a laid back Caribbean ambience, enjoying superb food from the eclectic menu.

Verras je vader dit jaar met een heerlijke culinaire belevenis in de sfeervolle ambiance van Landhuis Daniel.

Speciaal voor Vaderdag hebben onze chefs een prachtig vriendelijk geprijsd 3-gangenmenu samengesteld met verfijnde klassiekers zoals Entrecôte au Poivre of zalm met grote garnalen, voorafgegaan door een gemarineerde ansjovissalade of een rijke Franse uiensoep. Als afsluiter geniet je van een romige panna cotta met vijgencompote of een heerlijke Irish Coffee.

Daarnaast serveren we exclusieve Vaderdag-specials, waaronder onze populaire Ribs & Shrimps, een indrukwekkende Dover Sole van 500 gram, sappige Hanging Tender en de laatste asperges van het seizoen. Ook onze bekende Indonesische rijsttafel is verkrijgbaar.
