HISTORIC SILVER FOR SRI LANKA! 🇱🇰🥈
We are incredibly proud to announce that Cinnara Restaurant has brought home the National Team Silver Medal for Sri Lanka at the prestigious 2026 "SCO Summer" King of Chefs Invitational, held in Qingdao, China.
Competing against outstanding culinary teams from China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan, our chefs showcased the authentic taste and heritage of Sri Lankan cuisine on one of the world's most respected culinary stages.
Representing Cinnara, Head Chef Nishad Samaranayaka and Mr.Manoj Liyanage presented a menu that celebrated the rich flavors of our island:
🍛 Sri Lankan Beef Curry with Soft Coconut Roti
🐟 Black Pepper Fish with Potato Bobotie
🥥 Traditional Kiribath (Coconut Milk Rice)
Their passion, precision, and dedication earned Sri Lanka a remarkable Silver Medal, marking our country's first medal at an international chef competition in China in over 15 years.
This achievement reflects everything Cinnara stands for—authentic Sri Lankan flavors, culinary excellence, and a commitment to sharing our heritage with the world.
