The holiday period in Raro: PUNANGA NUI MARKETS 🌺
We had quite a few of you asking about the wonderful Punanga Nui Markets, and what their hours are over the holiday period.

🥭THIS Saturday 20th December normal market day

🥭Thursday 25th December 2025 - CLOSED Xmas Day

🥭Friday 26th December 2025 - CLOSED Boxing Day

🥭Saturday 27th December 2025 - CLOSED No Saturday Market

🥭Thursday 01st January 2026 - CLOSED New Years Day

🥭 Friday 2nd January 2026 - CLOSED Day after New Years Day

🥭Normal Saturday market will resume Saturday 03rd January 2026.

🥭Normal operating hours will also resume Monday 5th January

We had a great day and would recommend a wedding in Rarotonga to anyone! Neither of us had been to Raro before which made organising a wedding interesting especially when factoring in Raro time. We were after a chill day and we definitely got that!

Venue: Nautilus
We loved this location, we got married on the beach and had the reception in the beach front gazebo and had the sit down buffet meal. We organised hair, make-up, flowers, cake, photo booth and ice cream truck ourselves.

We are so pleased we had the truck at our wedding, it was hands down the best value for money and something that our guests loved! Fred was absolutely lovely too and so accommodating with our photos in the truck, he seemed happy to be involved which was lovely. He was probably there for an hour, and we couldn't recommend him enough!
