Scotch&Soda Cafe

10/30/2026

We are getting close to an official opening date!

It’s taken a little longer than expected: plumbing, groundwork, hiring, scheduling - you know, pretty much everything. But we’re getting really close!

We wanted to share our proposed opening hours in the upcoming weeks.

Currently we are going to be short-handed on weekends, and therefore we are looking to have the Cafe open Monday to Friday from 7:30AM to 6PM.

Once we’re better established, we will happily be extending those hours to include a weekend brunch service into the weekend!

So we’re calling out to you: if you know of someone that loves to cook, has experience in a kitchen, and does a dang good brunch menu - send them our way. We would love to extend these hours!

We’re on the hunt for some KNICK KNACKS for the Cafe!

Have some old brass birds in the garage? Some vintage tea tins above the kitchen cupboards? Grandmas spoon collection? A set of vintage dinnerware?

We’ve got a ton of new shelves looking for some conversation pieces. Your junk can be our treasure. 💛

Radio Silence 📻 🤫

We went quiet on ya - and we’re totally sorry. It went from vacation time, to rainy week, to a hard reality of what now?!

Paperwork is happening, an offer has been sent, & ACCEPTED and we’re working on TRULY opening the Winfield Truck Stop back up, but we’re not stopping there, we’ve got a whole property to bring to life.

You might be seeing some Dozers in the back breaking ground in the next two weeks - don’t fret; we’re just levelling out the land and filling in the hole to prepare for the 2027 summer!

Stay tuned - we hope to see you in September!
