Held up between two fingers, the way a tostada is meant to be eaten — in one confident bite before the shell gives. Ours start with a baked corn tostada layered with guacamole, then piled with shredded beef, pico de gallo, cilantro, and a heavy dusting of queso fresco.
This reads as our Salpicón de Res — built on the classic Mexican salpicón, a bright, citrus-dressed shredded beef that's traditionally served cool. The contrast is everything: crisp shell, creamy guac, tender beef, sharp pico.
Hosting a group? Tostadas are a catering favorite — easy to share, impossible to resist.

A brothy red soup with avocado, cilantro, and what looks like seafood or added protein swimming in a rich tomato-chile base. Perfect timing, too — Vancouver's mid-July evenings still cool down fast once the sun drops, and a hot bowl like this is the fix.
Order tip: soups like this are best in the first few minutes, while the avocado is still cool against the hot broth and everything's at its brightest.
We also cater — soups and mains travel well for a group.

Knife and fork through a hand-formed masa base — you can see how thick and tender it is under the crema, lettuce, red onion, and queso fresco. This is the same antojito from earlier, shot close enough to show what the fork reveals: a substantial fried masa cake, not a thin tortilla.
That texture only comes one way. Fresh masa, pressed by hand, fried to order until the outside crisps and the inside stays soft. No frozen base gets you there — it's technique and timing, done in the moment.
We bring the same care off-site — available for catering.
