I love to try and support coffee roasters from East Coast, and fortunately, they won't let me down. This Anaerobic Natural Bourbon roasted by Epoch Chemistry is a good example.

The fragrance and aroma is so intense that makes you think it is a co-ferment coffee (which is not). When you drink it in hot, the juiciness and sweetness of mango makes you think you are chewing Mango Hi-Chew. Strawberry note come when it cools down a bit. Tropical fruit liked sweetness leads the whole tasting experience.

I am never a fan of pineapple as a fruit itself, but this pineapple co-ferment coffee from has recently got my attention as well as many of my customers.

From fragrance to aroma, you will sense a clear coconut milk note, then you will have acidity and sweetness of tropical fruits like pineapple and mango; once it cools, it tastes exactly like Piña colada. This coffee is very nice for this season, in hot and in cold.

P.S. I just got the second restock shipment yesterday.

Few years ago I had a sherry cask aged coffee from Honduras in Guangzhou, the vanilla and whiskey aroma was so intense that you won't forget. Some people like it while some people don't, but I am fine with it. Then back to Canada I kept finding something similar, Rki from Vancouver had a similar barrel aged Colombian but gone very soon.

Recently I found this Canadian whiskey barrel aged from .torque reminds me a bit of the Honduras one, even though the aging process was done within roaster. For this type of coffee the enjoyment on aroma is always more than on tastes, but when I drink it over ice, the vanilla, caramel and whiskey aftertastes stayed very long and clear.

We added a new espresso option for those who looking for a little fruity taste, but still paired well with milk. For the origin and the taste notes, you will know when you stopped by.

P.S. It is an African coffee and country appears in TV anime Gundam Zeta.
