First calf of the year arrived last week! Born under brilliant northern lights and changing winds, he made quite the grand entrance.

His dam, DL Jen-Ty Sweet Pea 123M, Brantley purchased at last year’s Gelbvieh Association of AB/BC Wish List Sale from with his Junior Incentive credit.

Sired by an exciting balancer bull, EGL Lifeline, we sourced from Royal Western Gelbvieh/ Real World Genetics, this should be one bright combination of a bull calf.

As you can tell by the video, even all the other mommas are enamoured by him awaiting their calves!

And with that, Wishlist 2025 was a huge success. We would love to send a massive thanks to Twin View Livestock for purchasing TRS Valentine 1N! We are excited for her to do great things in their program. It was an amazing weekend, getting to see so many friends and breeders all together.

Also thanks to all the breeders, sponsors, and Gelbvieh Association of AB/BC and Canadian Gelbvieh Association for putting together this successful event year after year. It is always a highlight of our fall.

Here is TRS Valentine 1N with pics of her dam and sire. We predict she is going to turn out just like her mama - a powerhouse that is going to go on and keep creating foundation females.

This is the heifer we have been dreaming of since getting involved in the Gelbvieh breed. This breed has a Junior Program is second to none. Our kids have not only benefited from their Incentive Program but I have watched their breeders take my kids aside, giving them tips, helping hone their skills and encouraging them to grow. We have dreamed of the day we can give back and be part of this sale that has given our family so much.

TRS Valentine 1N is a heifer you will quickly fall in love with. She will be one powerhouse of a momma cow with those strong maternal traits the Gelbvieh breed is cherished for. Check her out as Lot 8 in the Wish List sale.

And with that, FarmFair 2025 is a wrap. So thankful to be part of such an amazing industry and we are so excited to see what the future holds for us.

Reserve Champion Senior Heifer calf, and placed 3rd within a tough class in thw junior show. This heifer holds so much potential, and we can’t wait to see how she develops.
**DL Jen-Ty Chicklet 192N
Didn’t make it out of class, but looked great and we are so excited for her and Brantley to get on the show road together.
Shelby was also asked to take AKS Nitro 49N to display him, and boy do we think he is cool. He was Champion intermediate bull calf and stood his own in the championship.

The Wish List has become a favourite annual event over the years. Our kids have benefited from their amazing Junior Incentive program and the breeders there have come to feel like family. It’s been on our wish list to be able to consign a heifer to this sale and excited to make that happen this year!
