Le 14 octobre, Data Next Step sera à MTL connect Printemps numérique avec deux de nos experts pour échanger autour de deux enjeux très concrets pour les organisations.

À 10 h 30, Yamlal Gotame - CISM parlera des réflexes essentiels en cybersécurité pour les PME :

→ Quels gestes prioriser pour réduire les risques?
→ Comment mieux protéger ses accès?
→ Comment se préparer concrètement face aux cybermenaces?

À 14 h 30, Rizwan Hasan abordera un autre enjeu critique : la protection des données clients et les obligations qui viennent avec.

→ Qui devrait avoir accès à quoi?
→ Quelles données faut-il réellement conserver?
→ Où concentrer ses efforts pour réduire les risques?

Deux experts. Deux sujets très concrets.

Un même objectif : rendre la cybersécurité et la protection des données plus accessibles et applicables pour les PME.

And we’re glad he did. 🚀

Meet Rizwan Hasan, our new Vice-President, Sales, Business Development & Partnerships.

Rizwan brings something special to DNS: he’s both a builder and a closer, with years of experience developing complex sales functions while continuing to work directly with clients and carry quota.

His connection to technology also goes back much further than today’s AI boom.

In 1998, Rizwan earned two Master’s degrees focused on Artificial Intelligence and OCR.

For him, AI isn’t a trend — it’s a working tool.

At DNS, Rizwan will help connect our technical expertise with real business needs across:

🔐 Cybersecurity and GRC
🤖 Responsible AI adoption
🛡️ Managed security services

His role is ultimately about turning complex technical solutions into clear conversations, trusted relationships, and business outcomes.

Outside of work, Rizwan has a passion for culture, travel, gastronomy, business books, human interaction, and languages — apparently enough languages that one hand isn’t enough to count them. 😜

And yes, he cooks too. 👨‍🍳

His mindset?

“I am comfortable outside my comfort zone.”

We think that’s a pretty good mindset for what comes next.

She turned down us twice before joining 🫨 😬

Then one conversation changed her perspective. 🇳🇵

Meet Prism Suwal, our new Engineering Team Lead! 🎉

Prism started her journey in backend development, moved into technical leadership, and is now exploring another side of her career: leading people and helping a team grow.

She loves solving problems and brainstorming technical solutions. She describes coding almost like “brain exercise.” 🧠💻

But she’s equally passionate about communicating, coordinating, providing direction, and learning alongside the people she works with.
What made her choose DNS was bigger than the role itself.

Prism wanted to know whether working with DNS could also create an opportunity to give back to society and Nepal.

Today, she sees that opportunity in discovering talented people, helping create career opportunities, and supporting them as they grow.

She’s also embracing being a learner herself:

“I know I have a lot to learn, and I’m grateful to be surrounded by people who are willing to guide me along the way.”

Outside work, Prism loves travelling and trekking. She’s explored Annapurna Base Camp, Tilicho Lake, Gosainkunda, and some amazing beaches too. 🏔️🌊

Fun fact: she’s usually the last person walking in the trekking group. 😂
“Slow and steady wins the race” isn’t just a saying for Prism...it’s apparently a trekking strategy too.
