A note for our next generation of hands that need our grace right now 🍎
We have onboarded and trained a lot of incredible humans these past few weeks 🧑🌾👩🏼🍳 It’s been a busy and exciting season of learning and growth for all of us.
With rising costs and industry-wide labor challenges, the pressure to perform is very real. Culinary programs across Ontario are shutting down leaving food industry leaders with an even wider gap to face. This increases our responsibility to develop future generations in hospitality.
🍽️ Real hospitality and life long lessons learnt in the kitchen can’t be replaced by AI. It comes from hearts & hands and it is learned over time.
Thanks to the incredible support of our community that values real, good food, sourced close to home, made by real people, we are fully invested in keeping this beautiful thing going.
🫛 To cultivate the incumbent generation of skilled hands, we need to offer them a little grace. Growth requires space to make mistakes, learn, and improve.
While we do our absolute best to catch every slip-up, we may occasionally miss a few things. When we do, kindly let us know so we can make it right for you - and the ones after you 💛
We understand the value of your dollar, and our goal is always to give you the best experience for it.
