🥦 BROCCOLI MICROGREENS — tiny greens, BIG flavour + nutrition! 🌱
Have you tried our broccoli microgreens yet? If not, here’s why these little greens deserve a spot on your plate!
💚 Packed with plant compounds
Broccoli microgreens are a natural source of glucosinolates, including glucoraphanin, a compound that can be converted in the body to sulforaphane. Sulforaphane has been extensively studied for its antioxidant and cellular-protective properties. Research has specifically shown that fresh broccoli microgreens can be a significant dietary source of sulforaphane.
🌱 Fresh, nutrient-dense and delicious
Microgreens are harvested young, giving you tender little leaves with concentrated flavour and a beautiful fresh crunch.
🥦 What do broccoli microgreens taste like?
They have that familiar broccoli/Brassica flavour, but in a much more delicate package — fresh, green, slightly sweet, with just enough broccoli flavour to make them interesting without overpowering your food.
🥗 So many ways to use them!
✨ Add them to sandwiches and wraps
✨ Pile them onto salads
✨ Top soups, pasta or grain bowls
✨ Add them to avocado toast
✨ Toss them into a Buddha bowl
✨ Use them as a beautiful garnish
✨ Blend them into smoothies
✨ Add them to your favourite meals for an extra fresh bite.
And one of my favourite things about microgreens? You don't need much. A small handful can add colour, texture and a whole lot of fresh flavour and nutrients to an everyday meal.
