A GREAT day exploring a new river with Todd Oishi as our guide. Fishing was tough but the company made up for it. Always fun hearing stories and learning from one of the best Canadian competition anglers.

Our yearly trip to the Kootneys is over and again it feels like we barely scratched the surface of the potential fishing (and golf) opportunities that area has to offer. Staying with John Kendal is always a treat. A guide and an advocate for that area for decades, he has a wealth of knowledge and stories for days. We were able to catch both trout and whitefish on dries (as John says, “the whitefish think they are trout in the Kootneys.” Already looking forward to going back.
