Today is the day that Lisa and Ron McLain are bringing up the memory sticks with all the pictures they took at Pickin. So stay tuned as I will start posting next week.
Also I still have the lost and found items… a chair, umbrella, watch and cell phone. Call Cyndy at 519 366-2317 if any of these items are yours. Also if a musician, no one has claimed the music stand left on stage.
Bruce County is hosting the IPM here in Walkerton and at the meeting the other night, there is still a few campsites available on there website. We will be releasing the Entertainment Line-Up shortly, as soon as we get the approval to do so. Letting the cat out of the bag. “ Catfish Gumbo” will be performing on the Friday evening. And Naomi Bristol will be performing on the Thursday afternoon.

Saturday evening, Cargill was alive with the sounds of “Dropped Tailgate”. Within an hour of them hitting the stage, and they did start early, the festival grounds filled up. Barry, Gerald, Jeff and Doug put on a show that was absolutely fantastic. There genre of selections of tunes varied that it pleased everyone!
True to what I said Barry does, right near the beginning of the first set of their evening, Line Dancers started dancing in front of the stage so Barry could join them. And that he did. Guitar and all.
Working at the door at the breakfast next morning, everyone was raving about the band! I got to meet these fellas and spouses when they arrived as my site was beside their campsite. What lovely down to earth folks they are. They are definitely
on the list of the crowd’s , “ bring them back”.

Also found in the park after Pickin was a chair and I found an umbrella on a picnic table by the stage entrance.
If you are an entertainer or band member from the weekend, I also have music stands and guitar stands that were left behind on the stage.
