I survived my first three days!! Two regular days and one event ! 🌞💛

Thank you so so much for all the sweet things you’ve said and the nice messages !! Warms my heart!! The support is so so lovely! And a weeeeeeeee bit overwhelming haha.

Also your patience has been greatly appreciated as I navigate doing this as a one-woman show. (Well, a 1.5-woman show, but the .5 isn’t a helpful employee. If anything, they are slowing me down 😂)

I’ll be posting a menu this week, I just need to adjust it before I put it out into the world ! My hours are ROUGHLY 9:30-1:30. For the most part not working weekends but most days of the week unless I need to make syrups or get stock ! I’m trying to get into town earlier but my toddler makes that difficult 😅 it also takes me about an hour to set up in the morning as well !

Good morning ! 💛🌞

Trial day #2 ran so much smoother than the first trial run ! No breakers were blown, no one got free cold foam 😂, I figured out how to program tips, and I didn’t burn my finger on the steam wand 😂. I’d say it was a success !

There is inevitably going to be some hiccups when I start but I feel so much more confident after these runs!! Thanks so much to all who showed up to either/ both days! 🫶🏼

I’ve gotten this question a lot recently so just a little update!

My only hold up at this point is the vehicle towing my trailer! I’ve got every permit, license, and liability insurance I need… for the trailer only lol. So I can work out of it, I just can’t move it haha. I was naive thinking the vehicle was going to be a go in, sign the papers, switch the plates situation 😅 but everyone I’ve talked to in this business told me “whatever your start date is tack on a month at least” and they were correct😅

I did one trial run with family, friends, and neighbours to figure out the bugs and there were many bugs 😂 blew two breakers, everyone got free cold foam because I didn’t program it correctly in my system, and learned many things I need to add to my trailer to be more efficient ! So happy I got to figure this out with people I know, and not a line up of people waiting to be caffeinated haha.

I think i’ll be running one more trial day (only with people I know, sorry! ) to work out any final bumps before hitting the streets! I’m HOPING🤞🏼🙏🏼 everything is in order and I’m good to go next week but I’ll keep you posted!!

I had my last of 3 inspections today!! BUT, I’m having some plumbing issues I have to sort out before opening…We’re SO close to coffee time !!

Speaking of coffee, I am so excited to say that I will be using and selling beans from !! ☕️🫘

They are the sweetest little roasting company out of Steinbach Manitoba with the yummiest beans !!

The inside isn’t completely finished, had to replace some parts I wasn’t expecting but getting there!!

Thanks for the pretty decals from Carberry Signs!! And I’m obsessed with the paint colour from Reillys Home Hardwear!! 🫶🏼
