Hey! We apologize for our hiatus from hosting the silent book club!
We took a short break from the book club to reevaluate the club; scheduling, attendance rates, and creating new ideas to make the club more engaging.
What fuelled the need to take a short break was lack of attendance and resources.
However after much discussion, we are excited to announce we are coming back to Airdrie and will begin meeting next month.
They will follow the same format as before (1 hour of quiet reading followed by optional conversation). The next round of meetings will include light snacks and water, and book topic questions.
We would also like to hear from our members of what they would like to see at each meeting, as well as what dates work best either weekends of week nights with times.
