Our truck is STILL broken down 😭 and we absolutely LOVE to be at the DARUMBAL TUMRA NHINDA FESTIVAL at the Foreshore this Friday, 2nd October! 🐟🍟🏴‍☠️

So we’re putting the call out to our amazing community! 🙏

🚙 WE NEED A TOW VEHICLE! 🚙

We’re looking for someone with a suitable truck, RAM, Chev or other large vehicle capable of safely towing our big food van.

📍 Drop-off: Foreshore
⏰ Friday 2nd October – approx. 11am
⏰ Pick-up: approx. 7:30pm

💰 ABSOLUTELY HAPPY TO PAY!

Unfortunately, guys, today’s cook-up in Gracemere is CANCELLED 😭
My truck is STILL broken down. After 4 weeks, I had really high hopes that we’d finally have it sorted and be back on the road, but unfortunately the issues just keep coming. 💔🚚
I’m absolutely gutted because I was so ready to get back out there cooking for you all!
Unfortunately, my van is too big and heavy to be towed by my normal car, so until the truck is properly fixed, my hands are tied.

Come find The Salty Seaman Seafood at the Yeppoon Foreshore this Friday 2nd October! 🎉🌊 across from The Strand

🔥 WE’LL BE COOKING FROM 2PM TIL 7PM! 🔥

On board we’ll have:

Fresh line-caught Queensland reef fish, cooked in tallow and served up with our famous crispy chips! 🤤👌
The festival officially runs 2PM–6PM, but we’ll be there firing up the cookers from 2PM and keeping them going until 7PM!

Bring the family down, enjoy the culture, music, dance and community celebrations and grab yourself some fresh reef fish while you’re there! 🖤💛❤️
