The Ulverstone Football Club couldn’t be prouder of one of our very own, Alex Pearce.

From a young local Ulverstone boy pulling on the red and black, to now captaining the Fremantle Dockers into an AFL Grand Final — what an incredible journey it has been.

Alex’s story is one that makes our club and our community incredibly proud. He has never forgotten where he came from, and it’s pretty special for everyone at Ulverstone to watch one of our own lead his team onto arguably the biggest stage in Australian sport.

This week, let’s turn our town PURPLE to show Alex just how proud we are!

Well didn’t the kids just get the highlight of their day 🤭🍦🚐

The ICE CREAM VAN pulled up right out the front of our house! 🏠👏

It has been YEARS since I’ve heard that ice cream truck music 🎶 and the excitement from the kids was instant 😂

So really… as if I was going to say no 😜🍦

Some childhood memories just have to be recreated 💜
