It's no secret that the past month or so has been a difficult one for businesses everywhere. Our biggest challenge right now is staff shortages.

But we are happy to tell you that our James Street drive-thru will be re-opening. When it re-opens depends on a couple of things like getting new staff and people returning to the workplace.

So watch this space for updates.

Good news - Hop Thru Cafe at the City Library will be re-opening this Monday, 31 January. Doors will open at 8am.

It is a challenging time for everyone, especially those in the hospitality business. We've been hit with reduced business and a shortage of staff (hence our little break).

But we love our community and we know people need their coffee and food. And we want to be the place you go to get great coffee and food and gather with friends.

There are some changes to the menu but you'll still be able to get our delicious sandwiches, fresh cakes and slices & great coffee. If you're part of our generous reward system, don't worry - it's still here.

Thank you for your patience while we get used to this new normal.

Unfortunately, the pandemic continues to batter regional small business. What was an urgent pandemic pivot for a Toowoomba small business, is now a Covid casualty. 😢
