Porteño accepts reservations for groups all group sizes. For groups of 4 or less reservations are available at various seating times.

Bookings for groups of 5 or more are available on 2 seatings; 6pm (for dining until 8:30pm) or 9pm. Those with later reservation times are most welcome to arrive early for a drink in our bar, Gardel's Bar. Dining for all groups of 8 or more is offered on our Chef's Menu. This menu offers a wide selection of our renowned dishes, as well as the best of what is in season. We can accomodate most dieta

Each night we do leave several smaller (4 or less) tables open for walk-in groups. Walk-in groups are seated once all guests have arrived. Once the restaurant is full we take a waiting list and all are very welcome to head upstairs to our bar, Gardel's Bar while waiting for a table in the restaurant to become available. Private Dining & Functions
Porteño offers Private and Semi Private Dining in our Evita Room and Private Dining Room. Exclusive Use reservations are also available on Sundays, Mondays and any lunch time. To enquire about our private dining areas, please see our Functions Page.

For one weekend only, Porteño x Humble are taking over the Holt St takeaway window for the Broadsheet Sydney Dine Out Festival.

It's one big love letter to beef.

Dry-aged beef burger on a Humble milk bun, add on "beef" bacon, chips fried in beef tallow and a chocolate & cherry beef crust tart to finish.

Sat 1 & Sun 2 August, from 12pm.

Walk-ups only. Pull up a seat on Holt St and dig in.
