After month of planning and preparation, these amazing talented Taiwanese celebrities / chef / influencers (together with 40+ creative team members) travelled to Sydney to pay tribute to hard working Taiwanese migrants in Sydney by cooking up traditional “Taiwanese Banquet” for them.

Just in time for Chinese New Year celebration. Muriel and Jade are invited as guests to enjoy the delicious traditional banquets. For once, they are not cooking! This is just amazing.

This September 30, Blue Eye Dragon turns 20. It has been two incredible, challenging, and rewarding decades.

When I first set out to open a restaurant, the idea was to serve authentic Taiwanese cuisine. But in truth, I opened it so I could have my mother close by and enjoy her cooking every day. I knew it was her love for me that made her say yes to opening Blue Eye Dragon.

Back in 2005, we donated our opening night revenue to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (then known as the Spastic Centre). This year, it feels only fitting to do it again: $50 from every ticket sale, along with all auction proceeds, will be donated to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

My mother always says, “It’s a privilege to be able to help.” So, can you help too?

We will be auctioning off the final in-home cooking class — the very last chance to have her cook dishes from our menu and our latest cookbook, The Taiwanese Table, in your home before she “officially” retires from cooking (at least for the public, as she will never stop cooking for me as long as she can).

If you’d like to join the celebration, there are still tickets available. And if you’d like to bid on the in-home cooking class, please reach out to me.

We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you — sharing food, stories, and memories that have made Blue Eye Dragon what it is today.
