Casual Kitchen Hand / Junior Dishwasher
The Old Spot Hotel is looking for a reliable and hardworking Junior Dishie to join our kitchen team!
If you’re keen to earn some extra cash, work in a fast-paced team environment, and get hands-on experience in a busy kitchen, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role:
Hours: 1 to 2 nights per week to start, with the potential for more shifts for the right candidate.
Shift Times: Starting at 5:30 PM until required (finishing times vary based on service). Sometimes Lunch Service aswell
Perfect for students or anyone looking for casual evening work!
What You’ll Be Doing:
Operating the commercial dishwasher and keeping service gear clean.
Washing pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized dish pit and kitchen area.
Assisting chefs with basic kitchen prep when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
High energy, reliable, and punctual.
Able to work fast and stay organized during peak dinner rushes.
Good communication skills and a positive team attitude.
Physical fitness to handle a fast-paced environment.
Prior kitchen experience is a bonus, but not required — full training provided!
