I had heard many good things about this little coffee van Little Zed - Coffee at the Creek and today I actually found out the good feedback was all true. Such a beautiful little spot amongst the gum trees. Well worth having a break as you travel the A1 highway between Port Pirie and Port Augusta. Barrie does make great makes great coffee. There are some nice treats on offer if you feel like a snack. Loved that the train passed through while I was there. Will definitely pop in to say hi to Barrie and Sarah on my next road trip ☕️🍰

Tonight the sin of gluttony got hold of me Bottega Gelateria and I’m not sorry. The first serving I had was Lemon milk & pine nut paired with Coffee by Segaeredo. The lemon milk had a hint of lemon with pine nuts giving the gelato a very nice pop. The coffee tasted smooth with the most beautiful taste of espresso.
This gelato is good. So good that I went back an hour later and had some more.
For the second serving I chose Salted Pecan & maple and paired this with Lemon Sorbetto. I have had a lot of Lemon Sorbetto in Adelaide over the years and although this is just my perception, this was hands down the absolute best - so fresh and tangy.
The Salted Pecan & Maple was unbelievably good. This was the first time I have had pecan flavoured gelato and I am definitely a fan.
If you find yourself in Henley Square pop in and see if you can stop at one serve. 🍧
