After an unforgettable journey, Ouest France Bistro won’t operate under my management post Saturday, 12 September.
As I prepare to close this chapter, my heart is filled with gratitude.
This restaurant has taught me invaluable lessons—not only about hospitality and business, but about people, resilience, generosity and kindness.
What I never expected was that many of you would become so much more than customers. Some of you became close friends. Some became family. Some of you even became grandparent figures to my children, sharing in their laughter, watching them grow, and showing them the same kindness and affection you showed me. One of you even offer me our next exciting chapter.
During some of the hardest moments of my life, you were there with your encouragement, your conversations, your laughter and your unwavering support. Those moments are something I will carry with me forever.
To my incredible team—thank you. Nothing we have created over the years would have been possible without your loyalty, dedication and belief in what we were building together. You gave so much more than your time and hard work. You brought warmth, personality and heart to this place every single day. Your devotion and your presence turned Ouest France Bistro into something far more meaningful than just a restaurant.
Thank you for believing in me, for standing beside me, and for making this dream come to life. I will always be grateful to have shared this journey with you.
To everyone who has supported Ouest France Bistro over the years, thank you for believing in my vision and allowing me to do what I love every single day. It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
To help preserve the memories of this beautiful journey, we will have a Polaroid photographer at the restaurant throughout our final weeks. I would love to keep the memories of you.
