Sustainable Organic Solutions Pty. Ltd A new scientific breakthrough that will increase agricultural production by 30% whilst reducing the need for harmful manufactured fertilizers. [email protected]

Please let me properly introduce my company. Sustainable Organic Solutions is a company with 3 internationally recognized scientists as directors. I am Stephen West, the marketing director, and I live in Brisbane Australia. I work with various research and development companies in Australia and elsewhere to commercialize or raise capital for research into projects that are commercial as well as en

vironmentally friendly. I am currently working on a very exciting project that I believe will revolutionize agricultural production. This is a project being performed by researchers associated with the University of Queensland that has proved that with the use of a bacteria introduced to the root systems of the plants the yield can be increased by +30%.and at the same time protecting the crop from diseases and reducing the need for inorganic fertilizers by between 70% and 100%. The invention has been patented and we are working towards commercializing it globally with the financial help of an investor. We believe the move to commercialization will take between 12 and 18 months. We have already proven this works on crops such as Wheat, Corn, Tomato and Rice and can provide evidence of this with the laboratory trials that have been completed. This is a world changing invention which will have an effect of increasing the world production of these basic food staples as well as reducing the soil degradation caused by the phosphorous and nitrogen fertilizers that are used today in excessive amounts that pollute our soils and waterways. Crops grown with this method can honestly be called organic and will taste far better than the currently produced crops and I believe all people in the world are or should be interested in the safety of their food sources. The financial aspects are-
Wheat production is currently (at 2013 figures) 713 million ton per year at a value US$236 per ton = $168 billion
Corn production is currently(at 2013 figures) 792 million ton per year at a value of US$149 per ton = $118 billion
Tomato production is Currently (at 2013 figures) 100 million ton per year at a value of US$76 per ton =$7.6 billion
Rice production is currently ( at 2014 figures) 570 million ton per year at a value of US$254 per ton. = $145 billion
These are farm gate prices. Total $438 billion
Figures are from the USDA. All figures are in short tons and values are in US dollars. Potential increase, with our invention, in value of worldwide production for these crops at 30% is $132 billion per annum. Obviously we cannot rely on a large market share immediately but within a year we believe a 5% figure would not be out of the question. Should we achieve this figure the increase of value of production would be US$6.6 billion dollars. Allowing for manufacturing, distribution and marketing costs of about 60% of this value the potential return could be US$ 3 to 4 billion. This of course would be achieved more easily if our company could enter a creative partnership with an organization that already has a distribution network in the agricultural field. Crops that we are further intending to research that show promise for improvement with this invention are- avocados, barley, cassava, cucumbers, lettuce, millet, oats, potatoes, sorghum, spinach, sunflower, yams and rye. There is a very big chance that barley, oats and rye will show positive data as they belong to the same family as wheat. The following crops are all possible positive responding targets for further research. Production figures globally for these products are
avocados- 4 million tonnes (metric)
barley -145 million tonnes(metric)
cassava- 276 million tonnes (metric)
cucumbers-62 million tonnes (metric)
lettice-24 million tonnes (metric)
millet--30 million tonnes (metric)
oats-24 million tonnes (metric)
potatoes-65 million tonnes (metric)
sorghum-61 million tonnes(metric)
spinach-20 million tonnes (metric)
sunflower-650 thousand tonnes(metric)
yams-60 million tonnes (metric)
rye- 16 million tonnes (metric)
As we cannot determine the success or the number of crops positively affected by the invention we cannot put a value on this invention beyond saying we believe it should be worth at least a billion US$ today. The only 2 negative results we have encountered have been onions and cotton which are the subject of future research. Our company Sustained Organic Solutions is looking for help in the commercialization of this invention and require of US$4 million dollars which will cover the costs of the process for 1 to 1.5 years. In return SOS will gift the provider of the funding 10% of the companies equity (the owner of the patent) and first right of refusal for the purchase of the entire companies shares when the research is complete the value of which is to be determined when the research is finalized by an independent valuation. SOS is willing to discuss other creative partnering to move forward

Reality would be that with the release of this invention to the market the fertilizer manufacturers will suffer a significant reduction in their demand which any in touch person would realize is a many hundreds of billions dollar turnover business globally. I hope I have explained this sufficiently. Please understand we have a number of entities interested in this invention and we are not looking for a loan but a mutually beneficial partnership with the provider of the research funding. Sustainable Organic Solutions scientists have researched a way to improve crop yield by 30% while greatly reducing the need for harmful inorganic fertilizers. This creates a crop that is totally organic with a better taste than those growing in manufactured nitrogen, phosphorous and other inorganic fertilizers. We have proved in the laboratory that this works on plants such as rice, wheat, barley and tomato and are extending research to many other crops. When the research is complete we hope this will provide the world with a greatly expanded food supply.
Added benefits are the process improves growth times which will enable some producers to plant and harvest twice where in the past they have only achieved one. Also studies have shown that the technology also increases the resistant of the plants to disease. We hope to commence the further studies by January 2016.
