HI FOODIES! 👋🏻 THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE OUTSTANDING IN MAWSON LAKES FOR SPOILING ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY!

Kim and Rosie are the owners of and are also friends of OIIG. Kim and I have a connection over broth! 😊 She understands the simplicity, yet complexity of a really Good broth. Her passion is evident. I live for her broths!! 💕 I just wish we had more time to explore this! 🤍🤍

What did I eat? Let me just guarantee you that everything will be outstanding! 🤍🤍

Mini chicken Donburi, yes I know it’s chicken 😁 The flavour packed in that tiny bowl.😋

Tobiko Nigri, Tobiko is flying fish roe. OMG! I’m all about that pop. They’re so tiny but that texture drives me absolutely crazy!

Chawamushi - I’m a little embarrassed to say, this is the first time I’ve had Chawamushi. 😁😊 Could be I’ve had it before and it wasn’t memorable? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Wow! Immmm Haallloooo, did we just stop at Flavourtown!

Kim and Rosie sent me out their favourite which is the Volcano, I taste it then remember why it’s their fave! Everything is one mouthful. Texture and flavour

Miso soup, I’m crazy about it. Yes, yes it’s relatively simple to make…..but it’s not 🤨 Again, Kim and Rosie understand a Good broth!

Yep, never had Unagi Nigri before either. 😊I did on my birthday.

Spicy karate chicken, it has to be spicy! 💣💥

The new menu item, their crispy chicken wings! It’s the recipe so yo know it’s going to be GOOD!

Soft-shell Crab Curry Udon. Sitting here with my eyes closed remembering the flavour of the curry and the texture of the udon, brings a smile to my face.

One of my absolute favourite dishes, Agedashi Tofu. I can hear you all saying, ‘Whaaaat?’ The texture, you know texture gets me sliding off chairs! 😱 The crunch through the batter then you have the ‘not quite set’ jelly texture on the inside. Seriously, getting goosebumps thinking about it. Order it and remain mindful while eating it. Oh, you are so so welcome. 😊😊😊

Finally, topped off the night with a watermelon soju. My personal fave.
