Hello all,
Its true, at the end of this month your local Lock Shop Cafe will close the doors for the winter with something new arriving in Spring, all we can say is yes... it will be a another fantastic Cafe!
Our Last day of trading will be Sunday the 28th of June for a musical final farewell.
This building has great bones and we couldn't think of a better corner for two Locksmiths to start a cafe business and show the people what could be..
The past 3 years have been very special to us, with no experience in hospitality we set out to bring Lilydale another safe and cosy space. Tealah who moved here to start this journey has been absolutely amazing and we would not have done it without her!
We have had some awesome staff and working alongside everyone has been a real pleasure to feel a part of. Soooo many thanks go to this team of ours. Words are not enough.
Magz will miss coming to work and may still think she's on the job so if you see her about, please say hello and send her back to us in the Safe Shop. The Safe shop will continue as normal and we will be still be hosting events throughout the years.
Our time in the Cafe is over and in the coming couple of months the new operators will occupy this fantastic corner in our town, so watch this space when the Spring has sprung.
We want to thank all our suppliers, our customers, our deliver-ers, basically everyone, it really has been fun.
We want to thank you - all of you - our loved locals, our families, our friends, and our helpers. It has been a real joy to become such a big part of our ever evolving community.
Lilydale is our home and our people.
