Part-Time Accounts Officer (15 Hours Per Week)

Location: On-site in Kilsyth, VIC
Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week, worked flexibly over 3 days.

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in accuracy, and wants a flexible part-time role within a supportive small business.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounts administration across our businesses, ensuring our financial records remain accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Processing supplier invoices and purchase orders
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank reconciliations
Processing customer receipts
Following up outstanding debtor accounts
Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero
Processing documents through Hubdoc
General accounts administration and data entry
Responding to supplier and customer account enquiries
Assisting with month-end reconciliations

About You

You’ll be someone who:

Has previous accounts administration experience
Is confident using Xero (essential)
Has excellent attention to detail
Is highly organised and able to prioritise workloads
Can work independently and take ownership of tasks
Has strong communication skills
Is trustworthy and maintains confidentiality
Enjoys improving processes and finding efficiencies

Experience with Xero and Hubdoc or similar document management software is highly regarded.
