After a year and a half, we as a family have had to make one of the hardest decisions. We opened The Little Karoo with no business experience—just a dream—and we learnt so much along the way. It’s shown us what we’re capable of, but it has also meant long hours and tough choices while raising a family.

Despite all our efforts, the rising costs of coffee, groceries, and running a small business have made it increasingly difficult to stay open while still offering good quality and affordable food. We know times are tough for everyone, and eating out has become less of a priority.

With heavy hearts, we have decided to close The Little Karoo. We owe it to our boys to put our family’s future first. This has been an emotional decision, but unfortunately it is no longer sustainable for us. OUR LAST TRADING DAY WILL BE 28 NOVEMBER 2025

We will miss our café and all the memories made. It was truly a dream come true, and we leave with our heads held high, knowing we gave it our very best.
