Where it all began.
I spent over 15 years building my career and working hard to become the chef I wanted to be. I had the title, the career, and the money I worked for. But one day, I had to ask myself
'Is this the life I want for the rest of my life?'
Walking away from something I had worked so hard to build wasn't easy. Starting again from scratch, in a tiny unit with a domestic oven, knowing absolutely nothing about running a business, that was scary.
There was no guarantee it would work. And honestly, im still learning as i go.
But I knew what I wanted to create. I loved making macarons. I loved the process I loved taking something in my head and turning it into something beautiful and tasty.
Looking back, sometimes the very thing we hold onto so tightly, the thing we worked so hard for, becomes the thing stopping us from moving forward.
Letting go of what felt familiar, even when it looked good, was terrifying. But life doesn't have to be built on guarantees or perfectly laid plans. It can be build it around purpose, future, and calling.♡
