🎱 Wednesday Pool Comp, Week 6 results

Wednesday 16 September belonged to Ali "Alchemy" Satera. Seventeen players entered and Ali didn't drop a game in the final: racing to three against Jhett "Squishy" W's two, Ali took it 3-0. Big night from Jhett to make the final. Well played.

Toshi "Tosh" and Barrunah "Bee" shared third, and Justin "1 inch" Ryder, John "Irish" Conway, Mitchell "Oddclock" Seles and Tony "Couchman" Harrison rounded out the top eight.

The ladder after six weeks: Jim Harris leads on 137, Tony "Couchman" Harrison is right behind on 133, and the win puts Ali third on 112. Samuel Kris (98), Charlie "Chucks" Sailor (79), Nick King (76), Shane "Shano" Sailor (74) and Andrew "Loaded Gun" Crapp (71) complete the top eight, and all eight have qualified for finals.

Harsh, Peter Sailor, Ross "The Rossness Monster" and Dylan Welch are all on four weeks. One more night and they reach the five-week minimum for finals.

The finals pot is up to $610 and grows every week. Finals day is Saturday 31 October at 2 pm, with six weeks of the regular season to go.

Next comp: this Wednesday, 23 September, 7 pm at The Downunder Bar. $10 entry.

Who's knocking Ali off next? Tag your opponent.

Saturday night at The Downunder Bar was absolutely electric! The energy was next level from start to finish, and you lot absolutely delivered.

The song choices tonight were all over the map in the best way possible. Someone kicked off with Frosty the Snowman — yes, in September — and honestly, respect. Then we had Lifestyle by Rich Gang lighting up the room, Since You Been Gone getting the whole bar singing along, This Is the New S**t bringing that Marilyn Manson chaos, and Tennessee Whiskey absolutely melting hearts. Every single one of these went off, and that's just scratching the surface of what went down tonight.

The wheel was on fire too! Allie L walked away with the big $50, Bel S grabbed $25, Kobe D and Cooper C split $20, Vanessa M took home $10, and Priscilla B scored a pepperoni pizza. Legends, all of them.

If you missed tonight, you missed a ripper. But don't worry — we're back Wednesday night, doors at 4 PM, karaoke kicks off at 9 PM. Get down here, grab the mic, and pipe it up. This is your week to spin that wheel and show us what you've got.

Tag someone who needs to get on that mic Wednesday!

Last night’s photos are up. Your turn to give us something to post tomorrow.

Bring the mate with the good voice. Bring the mate who THINKS they’ve got the good voice. We’ve got room for both.

Karaoke kicks off at 9pm tonight at The Downunder Bar. Choosing your song might take three hours, so probably start arguing about that now.

Doors open at 4pm, with 10 pool tables free all night, food available all night and the doors staying open until 3am.

Send this to whoever keeps saying “we should go out soon.” Tonight counts.

Here are last night's pics. Karaoke is back on tonight at 9pm!
