Beware the Drop Bear!

Okay…not really.

Recently we spent time at the Daisy Hill Koala Centre and thought it deserved a mention for anyone who is looking for a fun day out.

Even our 4.5 month old grandson was reaching for the cuddly koalas…probably wanted their food!

If you’re looking for something to do with the kids (or even without them) you will find:
• Free Entry
• 1.30pm Feeding time (when Koalas are most active)
• 2pm Educational talk
• Interactive and educational displays
• Plenty of walking tracks
• Picnic area to relax and enjoy (just keep an eye out for that drop bear)

We’ve been wanting to do this for years and finally made the trip. We’re glad we did- it was a great way to spend a few hours with family and we’d definitely recommend it.
