9–11am · Families post-appointment, slow brunch, soft voices.
12–2pm · Doctors on break. Food, coffee, gone in 25 mins. Pure efficiency.
Arvo · Students + WFH crew. Batch brew, laptop, corner seat. 3 hours is entry level.

☕ How seriously do Melburnians take their coffee?

Working at a Box Hill cafe will sort you out real quick.
We've got maybe a dozen regulars whose orders I know before the door even shuts. Grinder's going before they reach the counter:
☕ Tuesday morning grandpa — long black, no sugar, one shot
☕ Weekend mum with her daughter — magic, oat (Minor Figures only), extra hot
☕ Corner-table thesis writer — one batch brew, three hours, undefeated
☕ Night-shift nurse on her way home — double ristretto takeaway, zero words exchanged, full respect
Best one though — guy walks in last week, first words out of his mouth:
"What's your single origin today?"
Me: "Ethiopia Yirgacheffe."
Him: "Cool. Piccolo, don't go too thick on the milk texture."

🍝 spicy prawn pasta — the kind that creeps up on

Had a regular tell us "the more I eat it the more I want it." Honestly that hits harder than any "wow this is amazing" we've ever gotten.

Prawns are bouncy, not rubbery. The chilli builds slow — doesn't punch you in the face, just warms everything up and pulls the whole plate together. Pasta soaks up all that sauce so every bite actually tastes like something.

We stack it fresh in front of you — seasonal fruit + granola on the bottom, greek yoghurt in the middle, coconut flakes on top. Seal it, hand it over, you crack the lid yourself. That little pop hits different ngl.
Not too sweet, not too heavy. Just clean, fresh, actually tastes like the stuff that's in it. Perfect for when you want something light but still wanna feel full after.
