23 years ago, I walked through the doors of this place as a waitress.
Not knowing that this little café and wine bar would become such a huge part of my life , or that I’d end up owning it with the man I love.
My husband started here as a barista, and somewhere along the way, between coffees, busy shifts, late nights and everything that comes with hospitality, we became a team.
Then, when our friend decided to sell, we took the leap and bought the place ourselves.
And here we are, all these years later.
We’ve worked side by side, built a business, raised a family, had some incredible times and some really bloody hard times. We’ve laughed, argued, stressed, celebrated and backed each other through it all.
Hospitality isn’t easy. Owning a business together definitely isn’t always easy! But after all these years, I still walk in the doors and feel incredibly proud of what we’ve created.
And what makes me most proud isn’t just how long the cafe has been here.
It’s that after all these years, we’re still here , together. 🤍
Still loving this place.
Still loving what we’ve built.
And most importantly, still loving each other. 🤸🏽♂️💥
