Running a marketplace for fresh SA produce means we sometimes have stock that won’t make it to a cart in time.

Rather than let good food go to waste, we’re building relationships with local food relief organisations like Puddle Jumpers SA, to make sure it goes where it’s needed most.

This afternoon, we dropped off a delivery of Rainbow Fresh leafy greens to the Western Food Hub on Port Road in Hindmarsh - super close to our Really Big Fridge in Woodville.

They’re open 10am-1pm and 5-8pm for anyone doing it tough to pop in and pick up not only fresh produce, but bakery and pantry items, clothing and more.

Supporting local isn’t just about shopping… it’s looking after your neighbours and community. As we grow, reducing food waste and redirecting excess stock will continue to part of the way we do business because good food belongs in bellies, not bins!

Everything you need to know about DELIVERY.

Transparency is one of our core values at Cart8. We’re not about hiding little fees like a bug amongst the lettuce leaves 🐛 so here’s the low-down on delivery and what options you have if you’re thinking about ordering when we launch.

The website opens Saturday 1 August, and the first delivery date will be Wednesday 5 August.

We do ask for your understanding in our first week - new things take some time to become seamless but rest assured that we are working HARD to make things happen as promised.

Have any questions about delivery? Ask below - there is no such thing as a silly one.

From family farms across the Fleurieu and regional SA, Feather and Peck eggs are packed in Willunga and will be available from home delivery through Cart 8.

Picture 150 hens roaming free across Adelaide Oval - that’s how free-range we’re talking.
