Due to his demanding job a firefighter hadn't been home in many years. Unbeknownst to him, his mother traveled thousands of miles to make him dumplings. After taking a bite, he immediately sensed something was amiss. As he savored it carefully, there was no mistake, It was the taste of his mother's cooking. Suddenly, his eyes welled up with tears. He took another bite, overwhelmed with emotion. Never in his dreams had he imagined that he would taste his mother's cooking even while at the base.
