"Tasty coffee", - this is how coffee beginners evaluate the drink. Professional tasters identify 5️⃣ criteria for assessing taste:

☕️Sweetness
Most often this taste criterion is present in dry-processed coffee beans.

☕️Acidity
As with apples, a sour taste can be pleasant and refreshing. Also with coffee.

☕️Tactile
Think about which coffee: light and delicate or rich, creamy and strong?

☕️Balance
Do tastes match with each other, or does some one get out of the general melody?

☕️Bouquet
At this stage, the taster describes the general impression: how pleasant the drink is or not.

The path of coffee from a berry to a drink is only at first glance easy. Grain processing is one of the most important processes that affects the taste of the finished beverage. Compliance with all the rules ensures the very taste for which you and I want to return.

"Hario" is the name of the Japanese company that invented and patented the instrument of the same name. It is a funnel with a wall inclination angle of 60 degrees and a hole in the base.
For brewing, use a special paper filter. Water flows evenly through the ground coffee, and special grooves on the walls of the funnel contribute to the enrichment of the drink with oxygen.

The Importance Of Trial And Error? ▪️◾️⬛️

Even if you have a great coffee maker, premium coffee beans, and delicious filtered water, you can still ruin your cup of coffee if the beans aren’t ground correctly ▪️

If you are new at coffee grinding you should expect to make a few less than perfect cups of coffee before getting the hang of it ◾️

With grinding, the goal is to expose the unique characteristics of your chosen coffee bean by preserving its essential oil and extracting its natural flavour ⬛️
It’s going to take some time to get the perfect coarseness and flavour, so experiment with your preferred method of preparing coffee, and most importantly continue to learn from it ▪️

What Are Charcoal Lattes?
▪️◾️⬛️

The whole premise of a charcoal latte is that it’s a detoxifying drink because charcoal itself is a detoxifying agent◾️

Some claim to take some charcoal, half a shot of espresso, honey and lavender, to make it a little more floral and fragrant, and pair that all with some steamed milk◾️

Activated charcoal has been touted as the cure for what ails you, and is used for everything from teeth whitening to cleaning clogged pores to alleviating gas and bloating ⬛️

However, evidence for the benefits of activated charcoal is not substantial, and the negative effects could be detrimental to health and wellbeing ◾️

That being said, there's no harm in trying a charcoal latte, however, after that, you might want to go easy until you know how the charcoal will affect you, because, everything in moderation - Personally, I'll stick with my tried and true dark roast ⬛️

Why Pour Over Coffee Is So Good? ▪️◾️⬛️

The few tools needed to make pour over coffee, including a dripper, filter, and kettle, are indeed minimal, giving the method an air of simplicity ▪️

However, above all - all of the variables affecting extraction, the coffee solubles that dissolve in water, are within your control◾️

This includes choosing the coffee’s grind size and water temperature, adjusting the speed at which water saturates the grounds, and choreographing the frequency of pours ⬛️

The flavours with pour over will be more pronounced, and the mouthfeel will be silkier, and in the best case scenario, the routine of making a pour over coffee becomes a ritual, even a meditation ▪️

Ultimately this brewing method has gone down as one of the most basic, approachable, and effective ways to make a beautiful cup of coffee ◾️
